Samira Said Profile in Alam El Phan


Samira Saeid
A Moroccan songstress, born in Rabat, the capital. She felt from childhood by her lovely voice, so she began to concern with singing and music. Noticing that tendency, her family encouraged her to go a head. Therefore, She exposed to lights for the first time, through a program presented by the Moroccan Television named "gifts" which having broad popularity. Meeting of Samira Saeed with Abd Al-Halim Hafiz during his visit to Morocco, impressed Samira significantly to the degree, that she decided to leave to Cairo. After reaching Cairo in the beginning of 1980s, she began a cooperation with the well-known melodist "Mohamed Al-Mogi" and "Helmi Bakr". Then, came two songs which formed distinct point and open to her gates of fame: "I will never Yield you",
"He said he will come after two days"
aftewards , successful works of Samira followed in which she cooperated with the most prominent stars of works and melodists in Egypt and Arab world. From her side, she drew attention to make diversification between her songs, in order to attract all receiver categories. Of her major songs "forget me", At hours I long to you" , "it is appeared on me" , "after departure", "A story end" , "can you tell me?" "Longing on longing" , "Lover" and "attracted to him".
